Visiting San Francisco Muslim Community Center
We visited the San Francisco Muslim Community Center, which was formerly the mosque of the late Imam Abu Qadir. The community is now led by Imam Na’il, and we had the chance to meet him.
Imam Na’il warmly explained to us the investments and improvements made to the mosque, especially the recent renovations and physical updates. He highlighted how the place has been renewed and made more welcoming.

During our visit, we also met Brother Jason, the Board President, and took some photos together. Our Tanzanian brothers were also present, which added a very special spirit to the gathering. Brother Jason spoke about the board’s work, the community’s grants, and their various social activities.
With great enthusiasm, Imam Na’il expressed their commitment to serving the community, maintaining the mosque as a lively center where the five daily prayers are held and children are learning. It was truly inspiring.
We also offered our condolences to Imam Na’il, as his son has recently passed away. Overall, it was a very meaningful and beautiful visit.
