Sharing in Eid Al Adha

On the blessed day of Eid al-Adha, a meaningful act of service took place in Fremont, California. A group of volunteers came together to purchase and distribute fresh Kurban meat to Afghan refugee families who have recently arrived in the United States under difficult circumstances.
Impact: 25 families received fresh Kurban meat.

Eid al-Adha is more than a ritual — it’s a celebration of faith, sacrifice, and unity. Acts like these remind us that despite different backgrounds and tongues, we are one Ummah, bound by shared belief and brotherhood. May this service be accepted by Allah and inspire more kindness and solidarity.

“It’s hard to put into words… The families we visited spoke neither Turkish nor English, yet Allah brought us together on this sacred day. We didn’t share a language, but we shared faith, compassion, and the joy of Eid. Delivering the meat by hand and seeing the gratitude in their eyes — it touched me deeply. Being able to help, even in a small way, gave me peace and joy on this special day.”
