Participants of the “Twelve Months by the Bay: A Pacifica-PTBE Journey Together” project attended a tour of Elkhorn Slough on June 9, 2024. This project, consisting of a series of events, aims to foster interfaith family relationships between Muslim and Jewish communities. Following an Iftar dinner during Ramadan and a Seder dinner during Passover at family homes, the group chose to immerse themselves in nature. Elkhorn Slough provided a beautiful setting to observe various habitats and wildlife from a boat.
