Meal Service at Family Supportive Housing

On October 5th, 2024, BAYCC volunteers visited Family Supportive Housing in San Jose to prepare and serve dinner to families and children residing at the center. This heartfelt evening provided a meaningful opportunity to connect with the residents, fostering a sense of community and care. The volunteers prepared and served food and shared moments of compassion, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support.

For nearly 40 years, Family Supportive Housing has been a cornerstone in assisting homeless single and two-parent families with children. The organization addresses critical needs such as food, shelter, employment, and education while ensuring families stay together. It offers a haven where families can make transformative changes and receive the necessary support to secure permanent housing. Its mission is to end family homelessness in the community, with a vision that every family has a place to call home.
