Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner 2024

BAYCC, Pacifica Institute, Building Bridges Together, Silicon Valley Interreligious Council (SiVIC), and Christ Episcopal Church of Los Altos collaborated to organize the Interfaith Thanksgiving Dinner 2024, a heartfelt celebration of unity and gratitude. Held at the Christ Episcopal Church of Los Altos, the event embraced the theme: “The Spirit of Thanksgiving: Grateful Hearts, Shared Blessings” and brought together diverse communities in a spirit of togetherness and appreciation.

This year’s event held special significance as participants remembered and honored the life and legacy of Fethullah Gulen, who passed away on October 20, 2024. Fethullah Gulen’s teachings have been a cornerstone of BAYCC and Pacifica Institute’s commitment to fostering interfaith dialogue and mutual understanding. In alignment with the evening’s theme of gratitude, attendees expressed deep appreciation for Gulen’s transformative contributions to interfaith collaboration and education, which have inspired countless individuals and communities worldwide.

Approximately 200 attendees gathered to enjoy a memorable evening featuring live musical performances, thought-provoking speeches, and shared reflections on gratitude and unity. The atmosphere was warm and uplifting as participants broke bread together. The event served as a poignant reminder of the power of gratitude and the lasting impact of individuals dedicated to building bridges of understanding and compassion
