Growing up in Silicon Valley offers incredible opportunities—world-class education, a safe environment, and access to leading universities. Yet, amidst all these advantages, many children struggle to stay connected to their cultural roots and maintain proficiency in their native language. The BAYCC Weekend School was created to bridge this gap, providing a vibrant and engaging space where children can explore their heritage, strengthen their values, and build lifelong friendships—all while having fun.
Each Saturday morning, K-5 students gather at the BAYCC Weekend School for four hours of enriching and dynamic learning. Through interactive classes, hands-on activities, and a strong sense of community, students strengthen their understanding of their language, faith, and moral values like kindness, respect, and responsibility.

- Language and Heritage: Helping children maintain their bilingual abilities and stay connected to their cultural roots.
- Islamic & Moral Education: Teaching essential values through engaging lessons, stories, and discussions.
- Exciting Clubs & Activities: Students choose from a variety of fun clubs based on their interests, such as coding, soccer, theater, music, dance, traditional street games, and more.
- Play & Socialization: Recess time allows kids to play, make friends, and expand their sense of belonging in a supportive environment.
- Community Involvement: Students participate in meaningful projects, like organizing fundraisers and charity events, instilling a sense of responsibility and social awareness.
The Weekend School doesn’t just benefit students—it also provides high school and college volunteers with an opportunity to develop leadership skills by becoming mentors and teachers. These young role models guide younger students, helping them learn while also growing as future leaders themselves.
