Turkish Schools Alumni Reunions in Silicon Valley
BAYCC hosted a Turkish Schools Alumni Reunion that brought together alumni who studied at Turkish Schools around the world and now call Silicon Valley home. The evening was a chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new faces, and spend time with people who share a common educational and cultural background.
The night began with a relaxed welcome and check-in, giving everyone time to catch up, take photos, and ease back into conversation. Guests then sat down together for a traditional plov dinner, which set a warm and familiar tone. After dinner, a couple of teachers from the Turkish Schools offered short reflections, followed by a few alumni who shared brief memories and updates from their lives.
The rest of the evening was open and unstructured, with plenty of time for conversation and reconnecting. The mood was both exciting and emotional—many shared how meaningful it was to hear each other’s stories and to be reminded of why these connections still matter. The gathering helped strengthen the alumni community and left many feeling renewed, supported, and inspired.
