Message from Fethullah Gülen on the occasion of the earthquake in Southeastern Turkey and Northern Syria learned with deep sorrow that an earthquake of magnitude 7.7 centered in Kahramanmaras shook the provinces of Hatay, Adana, Gaziantep, Malatya, Kilis, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa and Osmaniye, as well as some parts of our neighbor Syria. Many of our people died and there are also many waiting to be rescued under the rubble…

BAYCC organized a memorable summer family camp at Westminster Woods, Occidental, CA from 31st July to 5th August. Participants dwelled in nature with learning, spirituality, socialization, and self-reflection. BAYCC, in collaboration with Pacifica Institute, organized notable interfaith events during the summer; many more are planned for the fall. We hope you will enjoy reading about BAYCC activities and continue to support our mission to make a positive impact in our community!

After summer vacation, BAYCC, Pacifica Institute, and RISE volunteers had several notable events during September. The activism vibe can be felt at the start of the academic year. There are more events to come during October and November. All are welcome to join vibrant events catering for all.

March is the month of the peeking sun: and saying hello to the warm weather. But this year, March is also the bringer of something very special: Ramadan. As Ramadan finds us at the beginning of a new week, the opportunities for spiritual connection are abundant- and so are the things we can do for our community and ourselves.

Summer is here, and it’s bringing all the heat! For BAYCC, Summer means outdoor activities, spiritual retreats, conferences, and so much more. This year, too, BAYCC has been involved in various activities across the Bay Area, a few notable examples including the West American Civic Platform in Malibu, international qurban efforts, and much more!
