Friendship Iftar
Sharing Faith, Food, and Friendship
On March 20th, 2025, young women college graduates came together for Friendship Iftar, a heartwarming evening centered on connection, dialogue, and shared values. The main purpose of the Friendship Iftar was to bring people of different faiths together during the month of Ramadan to share a meal, build connections, and promote mutual understanding. It created a welcoming space for dialogue, cultural exchange, and the celebration of shared values like compassion, gratitude, and community.
Key moments included the breaking of the fast together, the warm conversations shared over the meal, and a brief presentation explaining the meaning of Ramadan. Guests from different backgrounds shared personal reflections, making the evening a heartfelt and inclusive experience. The event fostered interfaith friendships, broke down barriers, and built a stronger sense of unity in the community, aligned with BAYCC’s mission of promoting inclusivity, cultural awareness, and deeper understanding.
