On Saturday, 19th of November 2022, The Pacifica Institute and BAYCC hosted an auspicious Thanksgiving dinner for its members and well-wishers at the specious Redwood Hall of Mount View Community Center. The event brought around 240 participants from various professional backgrounds, faith traditions, and ethnicities. It was a true joy to get together by meeting old friends and making new friendships after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event started with opening prayers by academicians, community leaders, and clergy. Speakers focused on Thanksgiving’s importance and making this occasion service for humanity. Speakers also shared the messages of living in harmony and social cohesion. After prayers and short messages, distinguished guests came together on the stage for the turkey-cutting ceremony. In the middle of the dinner, the audience enjoyed a musical performance with a flute instrument. Participants had a good time enjoying deliciously prepared turkey, side dishes, pumpkin pie, and fruits.
