The AAi Meal Service event on June 23, 2024, facilitated by Abrahamic Alliance International, was a collaborative effort organized by three faith communities: Congregation Beth David, Lincoln Glen Church, and Pacifica Institute. This event successfully brought together Jews, Christians, and Muslims to prepare and serve 150 hot meals to unhoused neighbors, fostering interfaith cooperation and compassion. Volunteers worked tirelessly to address a pressing social issue by preparing meal boxes at Congregation Beth David and then sharing a meal together. Following this, a group of volunteers distributed the food boxes to unhoused neighbors living in encampments in San Jose. The distribution was facilitated by Beautify San Jose, a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting homeless individuals.
