Peninsula Temple Sholom, Pacifica Institute, BAYCC, and the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition united once again to host their annual interfaith iftar dinner at the temple campus on Thursday, March 28, 2024, marking the event’s second year. This year’s theme, “Recommitting to Kindness,” set the tone for an evening of reflection and unity. Distinguished faith leaders from three traditions engaged in a thought-provoking panel discussion before dinner, exploring various aspects of kindness and its significance across faiths. The spirit of dialogue and understanding continued as guests shared their perspectives on the topic throughout the dinner, fostering a sense of connection and solidarity. Against the backdrop of ongoing challenges in the Middle East, the dinner served as a powerful testament to communities coming together to advocate for peace and togetherness, echoing a message of hope and resilience.
